Wool Loop Carpet Installation in West Parade, Worthing
Smyth Carpets completed a full carpet installation for a Roffey Homes-built flat in West Parade, Worthing. The project used Manx Tomkinson wool loop carpet across 135 square metres, creating a clean, soft and high-quality finish throughout the property.
The carpet was cut to size at the Smyth Carpets warehouse, allowing the team to complete the installation with zero joins. The job also included taking up and disposing of the old flooring, fitting new underlay, adding Kensington brushed steel metals and carefully working around a fully furnished home.
The Brief
The client wanted a smart, comfortable carpet finish that suited the flat’s bright, modern interior. As the property was already full of furniture, the work needed to be planned carefully so the installation could be completed cleanly and efficiently with minimal disruption.
The finish also needed to feel seamless across the larger spaces, bedrooms and hallway areas, with neat transitions between rooms.
Our Approach
We prepared the carpet at the warehouse before fitting, cutting it accurately so the finished installation could be completed with no joins. This helped create a more polished result across the flat, particularly in the larger open areas.
On site, we removed and disposed of the existing flooring, fitted new underlay and installed the Manx Tomkinson wool loop carpet throughout. Kensington brushed steel metals were used to give the doorways and transitions a clean, durable finish. Furniture was carefully moved as needed throughout the process.
The Result
The finished flat now has a calm, luxurious and consistent carpet finish throughout. The wool loop carpet works well with the property’s light interiors, giving the rooms a soft, elegant feel while still being practical for everyday use.
