About Smyth Carpets
A family-run carpet and flooring business based in Worthing, providing professional supply and fitting services across Sussex, Surrey and parts of Hampshire.
At Smyth Carpets, we’re proud to be a family-run business built on years of hands-on experience in the flooring industry. Starting out as a small operation fitting carpets for local shops, we’ve grown into an established team with over 65 years of combined experience.
Despite that growth, our approach hasn’t changed. We believe in providing quality flooring, professional fitting and good value for money, without the pressure of a traditional showroom.
Unlike many carpet retailers, our business is run by experienced floor fitters rather than salespeople. We understand the products we supply because we work with them every day, helping our customers choose flooring that suits their homes, needs and budgets.
Why Choose Smyth Carpets?
Experienced Fitters: Our business is run by professional floor layers with practical experience in supplying and fitting carpets, vinyl and LVT flooring.
Family-Run Service: We’ve grown from a small local operation while retaining the friendly, personal approach our business was built on.

Samples Brought to Your Home: Choose from a wide selection of carpet and flooring samples without needing to visit a showroom.
Convenient Appointments: We offer evening and weekend appointments to help fit around your schedule.
Professional Fitting: Our own fitting team carries out installations, giving customers confidence in who will be completing the work.
