Full Home Carpet Fitting for Bedrooms, Stairs, Landing and Lounge in Brighton

Smyth Carpets completed a practical full-home carpet installation, covering three bedrooms, the stairs, landing and lounge. This was a straightforward residential carpet fitting project, showing the kind of everyday work that makes up a large part of what we do.

The project included taking up and disposing of the old flooring, fitting the new carpet, installing new brushed steel metals and moving furniture as needed. The full job was completed in four hours, giving the customer a fresh, clean finish with minimal disruption.

The Brief

The client wanted new carpets fitted across the main areas of the home, with a simple, tidy and cost-effective finish. The work needed to cover multiple rooms and connecting spaces, including the stairs and landing, while keeping the process efficient and convenient.

As part of the job, the old flooring needed to be removed and disposed of, and furniture needed to be moved so the fitting could be completed properly.

Our Approach

We worked through the property efficiently, starting with the uplift and disposal of the existing flooring before preparing each area for the new carpet. The new carpet was fitted across the bedrooms, lounge, stairs and landing, creating a consistent finish throughout the home.

New brushed steel metals were added where needed to give the doorways and transitions a neat, durable edge. Once the fitting was complete, furniture was moved back into place so the home was left ready to use.

The Result

The finished home now has fresh, comfortable carpets throughout the main living and sleeping areas. The grey carpet gives the rooms a clean, neutral look, while the brushed steel metals provide a smart finishing detail between spaces.
