Smyth Carpets provided all flooring and carpets for the complete refurbishment of a three-storey beachfront home in Bracklesham, Chichester. The project transformed the property into a modern, stylish, and cosy space for seaside living.

Our Approach

We began by ensuring the subfloor was perfectly prepared for the intricate herringbone layout. The Amtico Spacia herringbone pattern was meticulously installed to achieve clean, symmetrical lines that enhanced the character of the conversion. We collaborated closely with the architects to ensure the flooring aligned with their design intent, both aesthetically and practically.

The finished floor became a defining feature of the space. The Spacia herringbone pattern not only elevated the interior’s visual appeal but also provided a durable, long-lasting surface. Lifesize Architecture’s design was fully realised, and the client now enjoys a space that blends architectural elegance with everyday practicality.
