Abingdon Charter Berber Loop Stair Runner
Smyth Carpets completed this stair runner installation using Abingdon Flooring Charter Berber loop carpet with a navy striped taped edge.
The customer wanted a runner that would add character to the staircase while keeping the overall look clean, practical and timeless. The natural Berber-style texture works well against the white painted stairs, while the navy edging adds a smart contrast.
The Brief

A loop carpet was chosen for its textured appearance and hardwearing finish, making it a practical choice for a busy staircase. The navy stripe edging was selected to give the runner a more defined, bespoke look and to create contrast against the white stair treads.
Our Approach
The team fitted the Abingdon Flooring Charter Berber loop carpet carefully to the staircase, ensuring the runner sat evenly and consistently across each step.
